Welcome to Lakes and Hills Publications
Lakes & Hills Publications is a publisher and tourism development company promoting tourism for the “Lakes & Hills Region” of the Texas Hill Country. Our goal is to utilize printed materials, website marketing and a state-wide tourism coalition to maximize our marketing efforts. The company publishes a regional tourism guide that is distributed in over 211 major cities throughout the state and nationally through the TXDOT Travel Centers. With an annual circulation of 300,000, the "Lakes & Hills Tourism Guide" has become one of the most widely distributed travel guides in Texas and one of the most popular books distributed by the TXDOT Travel Centers. The 108 page guide is also published on-line at www.lakesandhillsvacations.com . Take a “virtual” tour of our region and discover one of the best vacation destinations in Texas.
The company organized and leads a state-wide tourism coalition consisting of tourism-related businesses, attractions, sponsors and Chambers/Visitors Centers to promote the region. Coalition members/advertisers enjoy additional marketing benefits such as targeted direct mail marketing campaigns, website/email marketing, statewide trade show representation, networking opportunities, as well as opportunities to participate in regional marketing promotions.
The third edition of the "Lakes & Hills Tourism Guide" is scheduled for delivery in the fall of 2007. If you are a tourism related business, or interested in sponsoring a tourist attraction and would like to participate in our guide/coalition, please contact us for additional information.
